So many stories woven into one painting. 💙
From Chicago’s skyline to the limestone of our local quarries, this piece celebrates the places and people that connect us. Native Chicago plants become part of the story through my handmade paper, while the children and sailboats honor Kathi Parisi’s love of kids and sailing.
Each layer weaves a connection—a fitting tribute to Starts With Art and its work bringing creativity into young lives.
This painting will be part of the silent auction at the Starts With Art event on November 7 at Compassion Factory. Come find the stories woven into the paper—and perhaps take this home. ⛵️
