This painting originated a year prior in my sketch book. It was a perfect entry and won Honorable Mention in the Sea, Lakes and River exhibit at the La Grange Art League, January 2024.

Lots of layers in this piece and much more realistic than I normally due but it’s fun to break away from the everyday and explore something new.The houses, dock, boats and Mill are created from actual wood veneer.
